Darin Satoshi Maki is a second generation Japanese-American professional basketball player.

Darin was born in Los Angeles where he attended Schurr High School in Montebello, California. After high school, he furthered his education and athletics at East Los Angeles College and California State University Dominguez Hills. Upon graduating from college; Darin spent time as a globetrotter playing in Vietnam, Cambodia, China, & Hong Kong.

In 2005, Darin was taken with the 6th overall draft pick by the Tokyo Apache of the Japanese BJ-League where he is currently in his 7th season. For more information and game schedules, please check out the official website of the Bj-League
